So much has changed for me and the industry over the last week … HOWEVER … the summer con season is kicking into high gear, and as I said in the previous Cosmic Update I would be dropping some info about our upcoming events, so let’s do that!

Mandel Fan Fest
This Saturday – May 24
Mandel Public Library, West Palm Beach, FL
We’re kicking things off this Saturday at the Mandel Fan Fest—a FREE, family-friendly celebration of comics, cosplay, gaming, and fandom hosted by the Mandel Public Library. There will be panels, activities for all ages, local artists, writers, and even a cosplay contest! Cosmic Times will be set up and ready to sling some comics, and talk shop with fans and fellow creators.
HeroesCon 2025
June 20–22
Charlotte Convention Center – Charlotte, NC
Next, we’re headed to one of the biggest and most respected comic conventions in the country - HeroesCon! Known for being a true comic-focused event, HeroesCon is a must-attend event for comic creators and passionate readers alike. This will be our 6th or 7th HeroesCon and we will be exhibiting all weekend long. Stop by the Cosmic Times booth to grab our latest releases and get your books signed at no extra charge!
InfinityCon: Tallahassee
July 12–13
Donald L. Tucker Civic Center – Tallahassee, FL
Then in July, we’re heading back to the Sunshine State for InfinityCon: Tallahassee! This show continues to grow and evolve each year (check out their new look for 2025). As with every year InfinityCon offers a stellar lineup of artists, vendors, cosplay guests, and so much more. It’s a high-energy, fandom-fueled weekend that’s perfect for comic fans and collectors. As always we’ll be there representing indie comics and connecting with readers new and old. Don’t sleep on this show, after all … the Possibilities are Infinite!

As I mentioned in the intro … there are massive changes happening in the industry and I’m sure in future Cosmic Updates some of these revelations will be popping up … I might even have to pull Kevin in to make some videos discussing the topics. But for now I wanted to focus on the positives, like these next three events and the forthcoming final issue of Arthur: The Legend Continues.
One more thing — the title for this update was taken from the Kirby Krackle song “Going Home:” Here is a video I shot of Kyle Stevens playing that same song at the aforementioned HeroesCon … 14 years ago …
